11/10/02 -- Ost-in-Edhil forward by Manveru, Map by Jeremy Thomas

Ost-in-Edhil was the chief city of Eregion (Realm of the Noldor for much of the Second Age) for almost a thousand years.  Celebrimbor lived here when the Rings of Power were forged. The city fell to Sauron in c.1697SA when the newly revealed Dark Lord invaded Eriador.
