Comments on distance in the map by Faramir:
"It is based entirely on the map from the Core Book. There is one problem with the map. The scale is slightly off for distances using
Campaign Cartographer's Distance Finder. This is because it is based on the original’s size of approximately 2295 miles X 2093 miles, compared to the map template size of 2000 X 1600.
To remedy this and find a more correct distance requires a little math work, to find the distance multiply the number given from the CC map by 1.22 and you get a good approximation. Sorry about this :(
